Since the beginning of 2024, I've been lucky enough to have my work displayed on the walls of the prestigious Hotel Eringer, built on the heights of Sion, between the Val d'Hérémence and the Val d'Hérens. Featuring the highest mountains in the Swiss Alps, they celebrate nature's dazzling mastery at a remarkable frame .
Hotel Eringer: an unforgettable experience at summit in the Swiss Alps
In the village of Hérémence, the Hotel Eringer offers guests an unforgettable experience. At the heart of the 4 Valleys ski area and opposite the resort of Thyon-les-Collons, this exceptional location offers incredible views over the Val d'Hérens and the Rhone Valley. And even beyond the surrounding splendours, it reveals the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche, majestic mountains with their eternal reflections.
Combining the art of modernity with traditional know-how, the Hotel Eringer celebrates both Alpine nature and Valaisan culture. Respectful of the fragile and prodigious environment into which it is integrated, it promises those who pass through its doors an authentic and invigorating stay.
Fine art photography at the Hotel Eringer: a celebration of the mountains by Thomas Crauwels
In January 2024, the Eringer Hotel gave me the honor of hosting my most beautiful works. Very large-format photographs of mountains whose depth echoes the purity of the surroundings. From the hotel's entrance to the walls of its spa, my art resonates in our hearts here more than anywhere else. Like in a mirror, it reflects the soul of the imposing summits that we contemplate in wonder from the spa or the hotel's rooms. A haven of peace, a luminous stopover in a fleeting world tormented by the times. A wind of plenitude that suddenly envelops us in the beauty of the Alps. From Dent Blanche to the Matterhorn, from the Zermatt valley to val d’Anniviers, I promise you a journey to match your dreams.
Imagine how happy I am when I see my work standing up to its illustrious models! When, in broad daylight, my photographs echo the sublime crests of the horizon. Portraits of legends at the summit of the Alps. Like a return to origins, a happy ending. That's why, every day, I go to summits to reveal its soul. Because this wild and ferocious nature conceals a heritage more precious than any other. Because from its presence emerges the essential.
That tiny gap into which you step, that luminous edge over which you advance. Until suddenly you feel aligned. In perfect harmony with your values and hopes. Seeing my work exhibited on the walls of the Eringer Hotel, this ultimate feeling took hold of me. I'd like to thank Maxime Vitoux and the entire team at the hotel for putting my work and the mountains in the spotlight.
