Écrins massif
The Ecrins massif, formerly known as the Massif du Pelvoux, stands like an Alpine sanctuary, where summits flirt with the heavens and glaciers, like guardians of time, tell the eternal story of nature. In the heart of the French Alps, straddling the Hautes-Alpes and Isère departments, it embodies the very essence of wild, unspoilt majesty. With the Barre des Écrins and the Dôme de Neige des Écrins, proudly reaching over 4,000 metres, this massif offers a grandiose spectacle, an ode to alpine adventure where every valley, every ridge, is a promise of wonder.
Although it doesn't reach 4,000 meters, La Meije reigns as the undisputed mistress of the Oisans, a symbol of defiance and pure beauty. This kingdom, bordered by the Durance, Oisans, Champsaur and Briançonnais, is a jewel box of biodiversity, sanctified by a nature park where the word "wild" takes on its full meaning.
This gallery is an invitation to lose yourself in the immensity of its landscapes, where man, faced with the grandeur of nature, discovers himself humbled and dazzled. Let yourself be inspired by the raw beauty and majestic silence of these alpine lands, where every summit, every glacier, is a hymn to the splendor of existence.
