Hohberghorn
Dominating the famous Nadelgrat, the Hohberghorn / Hobärgohorn (4,218 m) stands out for its harmonious lines and dominant position between Saas-Fee and Zermatt. Its glacial slopes and tapering ridges offer a total immersion in the world of high mountains, combining effort and wonder. Halfway between the Dirruhorn and the Stecknadelhorn, the Hohberghorn captures the light in a singular way, making the shadows dance on its snowy mantle.
In his photographs, Thomas Crauwels captures the almost sculptural elegance of the Hohberghorn, where snow and rock merge into a picture in perpetual motion. Sometimes shrouded in mist, sometimes bathed in dazzling sunshine, the summit reveals a thousand faces, always imbued with poetry. Each shot bears witness to a rare encounter between the force of the elements and the artist's sensitivity, inviting us to contemplate the high mountains at their most inspiring and true.
