In this black-and-white photograph, the Aiguille Verte emerges with sovereign majesty above a sea of clouds. At an altitude of 4,122 metres, it towers in the heart of the Mont Blanc massif, like a celestial citadel reaching for the heavens. I immortalized this privileged moment after an exceptional storm, in those rare and ephemeral conditions that only occur a few days a year.

To the right of the Aiguille Verte, the Droites appear, creating a striking graphic contrast. Perhaps their name derives from their geographical position in relation to the Aiguille Verte? To the left, the Aiguille du Chardonnet reveals its flanks generously plastered with fresh snow, while in the background, the Aiguille du Tour timidly pierces the residual mist.

The first rays of dawn delicately caress the steep walls of the snow-covered summits , sublimating each relief and accentuating the subtle interplay of light and shadow. This morning light highlights the architectural complexity of the mountains: Aiguille Sans Nom, Pointe Croz, Grande Rocheuse and Aiguille du Jardin stand out clearly, together forming an imposing chain of remarkable summits .

This work reveals a celestial, almost mystical atmosphere that I'm particularly fond of. It's a rare vision, where the mountain seems to float outside time, revealed in its pure, ephemeral essence. This landscape evokes the grandeur, serenity and profound respect that these Alpine giants impose, inviting everyone to an intimate and inspired contemplation.
