About the work
A panoramic portrait of the Aiguilles Rouges d'Arolla , which jut out between the val d'Hérémence and the val d'Arolla. The bold, elegant silhouette of these mountains has always inspired me. They remind me of the bold shapes of the Aiguilles de Chamonix or the Aiguilles d'Arves. In the background of the photograph, Grand Combin also rises in the Valais Alps. A glacial creature of colossal proportions, it rises to an altitude of 4,313 metres above the Val de Bagnes.
The Aiguilles Rouges d'Arolla , like Grand Combin , are facing the last tremors of a furious storm. Swept away by the winds, the mountains are reborn, purer than ever. From one summits to the other, our gaze travels to the heart of an ephemeral yet primordial world. And through photography, I like to immortalize it in this way. Revealing the sublime and implacable facets of the highest Alpine reliefs.
A masterly tête-à-tête at the summit of the Alps. The mountains call out to each other, celebrating their victory in chorus. A theater of light and shadow against a backdrop of mist, nature reveals its absolute beauty. Lightning flashes over the Valais. The slender lines of the Aiguilles Rouges d'Arolla echo the robust, imposing stature of the Combin massif. Crystalline snow meets dark rock, and tumultuous dissonance gives birth to a symphonic ode to serenity and plenitude.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
