Fleeting splendor at the summit of bernese alps. The Blüemisalp rises out of the mist, while the Mönch and Jungfrau loom in the distance. I took this black-and-white photograph as the storm was battering the mountains. The clouds are still floating, windswept. The summits images follow one another, adding depth to the picture.

The work is abstract, dazzling and luminous. I love the softness of its silvery tones, the vaporous beauty of its clouds, the crystalline frost of its rocks. The mountain is more of a guess than a statement. Leaving it to our imagination to explore its contours. We imagine its grandeur and the beauty of the landscapes it overlooks. 2000 metres below lies Lake Oeschinen. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. For the time being, however, only the high summits emerge from the void.
