I've waited many years for this moment. Years when the winds escaped the summit. Years when the snow dissipated too quickly. Years of hoping that technology would live up to my ambitions. Until one day, my dream came true. In the spring of 2024, I took to the skies over Zermatt. Equipped with my high-resolution camera, I was finally ready to seize my chance. It was still dark in the Valais sky. Suddenly, I saw it looming up in front of me. A rock diamond set in ice, a sovereign flame dominating the Alps. No other mountain here dares to face it. No other summit confronts it. The Matterhorn reigns over the Alps as it bewitches me. I immortalize it under the glow of twilight. And this rare contrast sublimates his portrait.
