This dazzling black-and-white photograph pays tribute to the Cornettes de Bise. This jewel of the Chablais region rises to an altitude of 2,432 meters between the Haute-Savoie and Valais cantons. The mountain occupies a special place in my heart because I climbed it when I was just discovering the Alps. My steps led me to summit almost by chance. I'd wander through the mountain pastures, climbing the paths without even realizing it. Until I reached its summit. An unforgettable memory. A breathtaking panorama. From the Mont Blanc massif to the Jura mountains and Lake Geneva, the view was breathtaking. Since then, I've returned many times to summit des Cornettes de Bise. To sleep, to recharge my batteries, to meditate. The mountains are my refuge and my source of inspiration. So I'm particularly pleased to present this work to you.

I painted this portrait of the Cornettes de Bise after a major winter storm. As the heights were no longer accessible to man, I flew over the Chablais in a helicopter. The fury of the winds covered summit with a thick layer of snow. Sparkling in the sun, the mountain's flamboyant soul is revealed. In a sumptuous interplay of textures and lines, its snowy reliefs reveal their new face. The cross that adorns its summit stands out against the horizon at the center of the work. The summit casts its shadow on a bed of clouds. On the left, between light and shadow, the famous Dent d'Oche overlooks Lake Geneva. The marvellous Cornettes de Bise rise whitewashed to the rank of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps.
