About the work
A mysterious odyssey at an altitude of over 4300 metres, in the Monte Rosa massif. Corno Nero and Ludwigshöhe are among the highest summits in the Alps. The former is Italian, while the latter marks the border between Switzerland and Italy. It took me a long time to take this wonderful black and white photograph. For the rocks merge into the mountain, within a gigantic glacial plateau.
It's summer, in the middle of a storm. Fog fills summits. And when they try to escape, the clouds catch up inexorably. Until that magical moment when they finally reveal themselves to me. The Corno Nero, carried by the twirling snow, sparkling and enchanting. At its summit, a statue of the Virgin spreads her benevolence over the world of men. In the background, the Ludwigshöhe, a ghostly apparition in the shadow of the black horn.
I love the atmosphere that emanates from this powerful, fabulous work. Praise for a kingdom where the snows are eternal and nature sovereign. A painting close to abstraction, with pure, instinctive lines. A sketch of a world to which humanity does not belong. But I've been able to isolate its soul through this portrait, to take you on an exceptional journey to summit .

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
