About the work
A thousand leagues from the realm of men, I lose myself in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Swiss Alps. When the Matterhorn and Dent d'Hérens emerge from the bowels of the earth, a mysterious world is revealed. In front of these creations of nature, at an altitude of over 4,000 metres, I dedicate my art. In the foreground, the Dent d'Hérens whispering in the wind. Its famous Tiefenmatten ridge cuts the work in two. To its left, the Matterhorn points skyward. A perfect pyramid with a regal air, it captivates my gaze as much as it makes me dream. Between light and shadow, the edge of the Lion takes shape, and further on, the Zmutt reveals its sharp teeth. To the left of the Matterhorn and the Dent d'Hérensour gaze falls on the Rimpfischhorn and Strahlhorn. To the right, Lyskamm and Castor tear up the horizon.
Autumn 2019. A storm is raging in the Alps. I keep a close eye on the weather, ready to head for my favorite vantage point. As the storm dissipates, the mountain rises from the chaos. Calm returns; the clouds disappear. And yet, facing me, the two giants seem invincible. But here I am, witnessing this breathtaking spectacle.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
