A majestic portrait of the Täschhorn, Dom and Nadelhorn. This photograph is the fruit of three nights I spent in my tent, in the middle of a storm, waiting for snow that was slow to fall. It was a magical moment, alone with my thoughts, my stove my only company, facing these summits of incomparable beauty. On the third day, snow began to sprinkle the peaks. At 7.40 a.m., nature unveiled the long-awaited spectacle: the mountain was draped in its immaculate whiteness. In the sky, a single cloud persisted, clinging to the summit of the Täschhorn, as if to mark its ephemeral presence. In the morning light, the Weingarten glacier sparkled.

The atmosphere created was inspired by Vincent Munier's style, which skilfully plays with shades of white. In the foreground, the mist, like flames, elegantly frames summits . Recently, I discovered a cavity beneath summit on the Nadelhorn, a geological curiosity that only nature can keep secret.

A few years after immortalizing this magnificent scene, I made the crossing from the Täschhorn to the Dom. After spending the night at the Mischabeljoch bivouac, I reached summit of the Täschhorn at sunrise, followed by the ascent to the Dom. Today, as I contemplate this work, it resonates with a new intensity. For beyond the sporting challenge, these mountains illustrate the smallness of man in the face of the immensity of nature.
