Gastlosen panorama
About the work
In this panoramic photograph, the summits peaks, covered with fresh snow after a violent storm, seem to reach for the sky to touch the stars. The peaks are revealed one by one: Marchzahne, Eggturm, Pfadflue, Bireflue, Gross Turn, Wandflue. In the background, Dent de Ruth and Dent de Savigny look like cat's ears. On the right, the Dent de Brenleire and the Dent de Folliéran stand out clearly. Himalayan mountains, their wild silhouettes sing an ode to freedom. Can you see the Vanils massif emerging in the distance? Wrapped in a sea of clouds, it blends harmoniously with the elements.
I like the verticality of the corridors and the diagonal of the Gastlosen, which divides the work in two. I love the balance between shadow and morning light, the deep contrasts that magnify their beauty. I honor these mountains for their grandeur and brilliance. Observe the purity of the lines redrawn by the impetuous winds. Observe how the snow sparkles on the rock. The Gastlosen invite our spirit to immerse itself in the universe of the sublime.
