When silence envelops the high summits, the Gornergletscher awakens in a mystical breath. Here in Zermatt, the mist sublimates the age-old glide of the ice, blurring landmarks and inviting our gaze to plunge into an almost abstract composition. Like a work of art from another time, the glacier unfurls its mineral folds, while the fog clings to the slightest crack to envelop the scene in an enigmatic veil.

I captured this moment at dawn, when the light still hesitates between night and morning. A delicate silvery glow reflects off the asperities of the ice, revealing the subtlety of the textures. Cracks, like lifelines, testify to the unsuspected strength of a kingdom in perpetual transformation.
