For many years, I dreamed of this magical moment. Where the freshly-whitened wall rises between heaven and earth above a bed of clouds. Where the western face of the Mischabels massif reveals itself against the light. In the center of the photograph, the Dom rises majestically. The highest summit in Switzerland, its north face is illuminated on this summer morning by the first rays of the sun. Opposite us, the Festigrat leads us between light and shadow to the summit of the Dom. One of the most beautiful access routes to this legendary mountain.

The work takes us on a journey to the heart of a wild world where nature reigns supreme. On this particular day, the elements came together to create a spectacle of sheer beauty. It's a rare opportunity, so I'm looking forward to it. I hope one day to be able to witness these moments of grace. Admiring this magical landscape lifts my soul and revives my heart. Contemplating the mountain for hours on end. The shapes of its crevasses and ridges, the new textures that shape its walls. The indirect light that illuminates the Mischabels highlights the details of its faces.
