Mount Blanc
Divine moment
About the work
I immortalized this divine moment at the beginning of winter, when the mountains had just emerged victorious from a fierce battle against the furious winds. At the end of the day, the clouds are barely breaking, giving the mountains a few hours' respite. Before disappearing, the sun shines one last time on the west face of Mont Blanc. While the north face remains in shadow until spring returns. Greeting the lull in the storm, Mont Blanc dons the lenticular cloud for which it is famous. It's an astonishing headdress that challenges our imagination and adds to the charisma of this legendary mountain. In a light, soothing atmosphere, this fine art photograph will take you on a journey. It will illuminate the place where you install it, transporting you from past ascents to future odysseys.
