Journey to the heart of the most beautiful mountains of Saas Fee, and probably of the Swiss Alps. This black-and-white photograph pays homage to the Nadelgrat, a fabulous ridge that leads us between earth and sky, at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. The connected Lenzspitze, Nadelhorn, Stecknadelhorn, Hobarghorn and Dirruhorn form a veritable wall between the valleys of Zermatt and Saas Fee. A jewel of the Alps, with lines reminiscent of a crown. The glaciers that adorn these mountains are magnificent, with impressive crevasses. The Dom des Mischabel rises in the background. At 4546 metres, it is the highest summit in the Alps and is entirely Swiss. On the right, the famous Castor greets us, elegantly topped by a small cloud.

I was lucky enough to cross the Nadelgrat with Vivian Bruchez. A magnificent adventure. A long journey, during which we were rarely able to contemplate the landscape. Caught in the storm and buffeted by the winds. But to have set foot on these legendary peaks, to have passed through the gates of the celestial kingdom, left an indelible mark on me. A true personal achievement, I came away with a different view of the world and a wealth of new inspiration.

I created this exceptional panorama to highlight the beauty of the Alps in spring. The light reflecting off the glacial faces of the mountains invites contemplation. The cloudy veil that covers the valley adds depth to the work. It sublimates the grandeur of summits. Contemplating this painting invites me to continue my quest. To go up there and seize the moment. To immortalize the purity of the Alps and perpetuate the heritage of a world that is constantly evolving.
