Journey to the heart of Verbier, at the crossroads between the realms of man and heaven. Dominating the landscape, the Pierre Avoi stands majestic and triumphant. Also known as the Pierre à Voir, this name, taken from the patois, means sharp, pointed. From the Rhone valley, this summit, although not as high as those I'm accustomed to capturing, nevertheless seems unattainable. In this autumnal season, the atmosphere was tinged with magic. After a storm that shook the mountains, calm seemed to return. The clouds part and the sun shines through. The snow, freshly laid on the treetops and fir trees, reveals unsuspected details. The Avoi Stone, as if metamorphosed, now seems to belong to another universe. Like a shark's fin, it emerges from the ocean and shows its grandeur.

The mountain fascinates as much as it impresses. It attracts mountaineers who seek to conquer the Pierre Avoi for its beautiful and spectacular climbing routes. Among these challenges is Le Choc des titans. A 150-metre route offering a sublime exploration of this quartzite monolith.

This photograph of the Pierre Avoi stands out among the other works I usually immortalize. I chose to highlight the fir trees that, here, magnify the summit. Their presence adds a crown of unequalled elegance to the mountain. The work becomes an invitation to dream before the transcendent majesty of this snow-covered peak. Listening to the heights, I captured this ephemeral beauty born of a storm. A sumptuous, snow-white landscape where light and shadow intertwine. I reveal the mountain to you in a new light.
