About the work
This black-and-white work portrays a fascinating mountain. Piz Linard, a colossus of the Rhaetian Alps, rises to an altitude of 3,410 metres in the canton of Graubünden. This unshakeable pyramid, emblematic of Lavin and Zernez, dominates the Lower Engadine. Piz Linard, summit the highest peak in the Silvretta massif, shines with its imposing southern face, worthy of the most famous mountains in the Alps.
I took this photograph of Piz Linard at sunrise. As the first rays of sunlight graze its rocky, snow-covered summit, the winds threaten to batter the Grisons relief. So I seize my chance and immortalize the queen of the Silvretta, who here seems to be opening her arms to me. A moment of grace before the storm takes over summit. Like a breath of fresh air over the Lower Engadine. A poetic flight to the summit of the Swiss Alps.
On this immense face, I discern innumerable corridors. So many revealing features of a vigorous mountain. I love these details that reveal the fiery temperament of Piz Linard. Its indomitable lines, its profound beauty. I love the morning light that makes the snow sparkle. Along its crests, the mountain seems to tell us its prodigious story. And I like to immerse myself in it, out of love for the Alps and their precious memory.

As former inhabitants of Zermatt, it's hard to forget the Matterhorn, even in a new environment of mountains and nature.we discovered this large photo of the Matterhorn in a gallery, so strong and intense, it was impossible to forget it........ It became obvious that it should adorn our new apartment as a centerpiece.What's more, we had a very sympathetic contact with the artist, who came himself to deliver his work.It's very appreciable and adds a dimension to the object, to know its creator, his passion, the conditions under which it was taken.The texture of the photo resembles a painting, the lights play on it, Next the hours. It seems alive. A real daily pleasure!

We were bowled over!
My wife and I are amazed at the quality of print and the rendering of this magnificent photo. We had waited many years to put a picture on this blank wall because we had never "flashed" on a piece of art. Now we've found it, and it fits in perfectly at the entrance to our apartment. What's more, it depicts 3 summits that are particularly close to our hearts: the Weisshorn, Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn - quite a symbol...
