A grandiose portrait of Biancograt captured in the Engadine massif. Also known as Crast'Alva, this perfect ridge draws a line of purity that soars skyward. Hypnotized, our eyes follow this curve leading to the triangular summit of the Pizzo Bianco, which culminates at 3994 metres above sea level. This leads us to Piz Bernina, the finishing point of one of the most beautiful Alpine races I've ever had the privilege of completing.

Let's enter this cloudy atmosphere. After a violent storm, summits is dressed in white gold. New textures appear on the west face of Pizzo Bianco, still in shadow. Can you see abstract drawings? Clouds, like mystical veils, slowly unveil the ridge and seem to guide us towards the heavens. In large format, summit Piz Bernina blends subtly into the clouds. To the right, the ridge continues towards Piz Scerscen, which rises to 3970 metres. This mountain, which partially collapsed in April 2024, is a reminder of the fragility of these giants. For behind their apparent timelessness, the kingdom above is crumbling under the effects of climate change.

This ballet of light and shadow, this dance of clouds, creates a dreamlike, celestial vision. Through this work, I seek to capture and convey the essence of these mountains. Their majesty. But their vulnerability is amplified by external forces. This is my mission. To pass on the heritage of a nature in full metamorphosis.
