I took this exceptional panorama by helicopter as the roaring winds covered the mountains in a thick layer of snow. I waited many years before being able to admire the Matterhorn painted white. In such conditions, summits is inaccessible to most climbers. At the beginning of summer, the rocky heights move away from mankind and towards the heavens.

The Täschhorn emerges from the mist like a shark's fin suddenly rising from the waves. The scattered clouds and the perspective adopted endow the work with an incredible dramatic intensity. I've dreamed of this moment for so long. I've searched so hard for this repetition of forms, this sequence of pyramids that punctuate the beauty of nature to the rhythm of our hearts. Thanks to my telephoto lens, the Täschhorn, the Matterhorn and the Matterhorn Dent d'Hérens seem to unite in defiance of the sky, even though they are miles apart.
