In the foreground of the photograph, the Besso stands, thrusting its twin peaks toward the sky. At its summit, its metal cross sounds like a challenge to the infinite, unfathomable and eternal. To its left unfolds the ridge of Blanc de Moming. Its pure and fascinating lines give it a Himalayan appearance. In the background, the north face of the Obergabelhorn sets our hearts ablaze. A sublime pyramid that shakes our souls. To its right, the Matterhorn echoes its grandeur, an icon of Zermatt and sovereign of Valais. It displays its magnetic design above the Arbenjoch, whose dark silhouette connects Mount Durand to the Arbengrat.

This marvellous universe exists only in our memories. It can be erased in a matter of seconds. Clouds take over summits, the heat of the sun destroys their divine whiteness, and the magic is over. But a moment of grace is enough to bear witness forever to the splendour of the world. And I make it my mission. To listen to the mountain and be in the right place when the miracle comes to life. Wiping out setbacks and facing the winds until the unheard-of day when nature puts on its finest show for me. Beyond the clouds, as if at the origins of the world. When the mist engulfs the valley, offering freedom only to the highest mountains. Here I am, alone with the most precious jewels of the Alps. 15 years ago, I loved them at first sight. Since then, they've never ceased to move me. From ridge to ridge and along their dazzling walls, I invite you on the most ardent of journeys.
