Through this magnificent black and white photograph, I offer you a journey along the ridges of the most beautiful summits of val d’Anniviers. The winds are still raging at altitude as the mountain awakens in the winter morning. Its glistening, just-whitened ridges guide us from the Pigne de la Lé to the Bouquetins. From the Grand Cornier, we reach Dent Blanche, queen of the Swiss Alps, pointing skywards in a burst of grace. To the left, the Pointe de Zinal and the Matterhorn seem to echo them like a poignant tribute to the splendour of the world. At the foot of the Matterhorn, our gaze catches the Durand pass, which opens the passage from val d’Anniviers to the Zermatt valley. And in the shadows stretches the Moiry glacier with its deep crevasses.

I love the presence of these immaculate mountains. The low-angled light that highlights the features of the imposing summits . I love the softness of the opaline sky that adorns the peaks with a radiant veil. In this grandiose picture, I love the dynamic that arises from the meeting of willful ridges and volatile clouds. Confrontation of lines, dazzling fusion. The magic of nature, offering us the treasures of its geometry on this day.
