I imagined this panoramic photograph as a poetic work, a moment suspended between earth and sky. A tribute to the mountains of the val d’Anniviers and the illustrious summits the Valais Alps. A flamboyant portrait of the Zinalrothorn, rising from the waves at the dawn of time.

Fascinated by the splendour of its north face and its immense hanging glaciers, our gaze plunges into the heart of this kingdom where the sky blends with the beauty of the world. From the Pointe Nord de Moming, we cross the Crête Sud de Moming to reach the summit the Zinalrothorn. We then descend via the Rothorngrat, which appears behind the mountain's northern ridge. On the horizon rise the high summits of the Zermatt valley. The Parrotspitze, Ludwigshöhe and Corno Nero, peaks of Monte Rosa, guide us towards the crests of the Lyskamm and Breithorn on the right.

I cherish nature for giving me this unique moment at the summit the Alps. The Zinalrothorn triumphs over the mist at sunrise. A granite creature sprung from the bowels of a steaming Earth to offer the Alps all their grandeur. Shaped by wind, ice and snow, the mountain appears like a diamond in the rough. And in an astonishing burst of grace, it emerges from the waves of an ocean of mist to conquer the sky and our childlike hearts.
