From the glaciers of Arolla, the Valais Alps reveal their grandeur. This fabulous black and white panoramic photograph guides us to meet the most beautiful mountains of the Zermatt valley. Wild and majestic, this natural treasure continually inspires my art. Facing us, the Matterhorn spreads its roots to touch the sky. Between shadow and light, the Zmutt ridge paves the way to the summit. To the left, the Hörnli ridge leads us to its peak. Then, we descend on the right via the Lion ridge, crossing its plateau and Tyndall peak. The north face of the Matterhorn draws our gaze, illuminated by the first rays of summer sun. Echoing its brilliance, the Breithorn and Liskamm also bask in the morning light. Overshadowing the latter, the Monte Rosa massif cuts across the horizon. From Ludwigshöhe, we reach Parrotspitze, Signalkuppe or Pointe Gnifetti, and Zumsteinspitze. An incredible journey at over 4000 meters altitude.

Day breaks in the Valais Alps as the storm recedes. The cloud-laden sky filters through the light to give us this masterful tableau. As the mist invades the valley, like a river flowing between the rocks, the Gornergrat emerges. A dark vessel sailing on the waves of the tormented Alps. Dressed in its finest mantle, the mountain faces its destiny. Playing with its powerful lines and the contours of its relief, it reveals its magnificence to the world. I love the overwhelming, grandiose atmosphere that emanates from this photograph. The work takes us on a journey beyond ourselves.
